Detailed itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi – Transfer to Ol Pejeta (Approx. 4 hours)

You will be picked at 7a.m. from your Nairobi hotel and immediately head to Sweetwaters (Ol Pejeta). This is a beautiful private game reserve and home to rare species such as Beisa oryx, Rothschild's giraffe and black rhino. Game drives here reveal the full range of African wildlife including lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant and hippo. Enjoy a private visit with the tame animals at the wildlife orphanage. Observe chimps at the Chimpanzee Sanctuary as well.

Overnight: Sweetwaters Tented Camp
Meals: Lunch & Dinner

Day 2: Ol Pejeta – Transfer to Lake Nakuru (Approx. 4 hours)

Have breakfast then depart for Lake Nakuru. Have a game drive as soon as you arrive to see one of the largest a variety of wildlife not forgetting the famous white Rhino and black rhino found in this park. Another game drive is at 3 or 4p.m. till 6p.m.

Overnight: Sarova Lion Hill/Flamingo
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 3: Lake Nakuru – Transfer to Lake Bogoria – Lake Naivasha

Have breakfast then head to Lake Bogoria carrying packed lunch with you. Have guided nature walks on the shores of the lake. Later have lunch then head to Lake Naivasha.

Overnight: Lake Naivasha Sopa/Crescent
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

Day 4: Lake Naivasha – Transfer to Maasai Mara

Have an early breakfast then depart for Maasai Mara to arrive for lunch at the camp. Have lunch then relax before an afternoon game drive at 3 o’clock till 6p.m.

Overnight: Fairmont Mara/Osero
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

Day 5: Maasai Mara – Full day game drives

This whole day will be spent with morning and afternoon game drives that lead one to some of Africa's largest lion prides, herds of zebra, antelopes, buffaloes, wildebeest, giraffes, cheetahs, and hyenas. Accommodations include en suite restroom facilities and secluded verandas.

Optional activities: Balloon ride and visit to Maasai Village

Overnight: Fairmont Mara/Osero
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

Day 6: Mara – Lake Victoria via Isebania border

Have breakfast then depart for Tanzania via Isebania border. You will be met by our Tanzania guide/driver who will drive you to the Serenity Eco lodge to arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon is spent on leisure.

Overnight: Lukuba Island Lodge/Serenity Eco Lodge
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

Day 7: Lake Victoria – Transfer to Serengeti

Have breakfast then depart for Serengeti to arrive by mid-morning. Have a game drive as you enter the park and later drive to the lodge for lunch. Afternoon game drive is at 4 p.m. or just relaxes at the camp/lodge.

Overnight: Four Seasons Serengeti/Kati Kati

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

Day 8: Serengeti - Full day game drive

This whole day, have breakfast then depart for a full-day game drive carrying packed lunch with you. Enjoy searching for wildlife in this vast savannah land. Picnic lunch will be served at lunch time.

Overnight: Four Seasons Serengeti/Kati Kati

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

Day 9: Serengeti - Transfer to Ngorongoro

Depart for Ngorongoro after breakfast arriving before lunch time. Have a game drive en route to your lodge for lunch. After lunch relax before an afternoon game drive at the crater area.

Overnight: Neptune Ngorongoro/Ngorongoro Rhino

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 10: Ngorongoro Crater – Full day

After breakfast, check out of the lodge with packed picnic lunch and depart for a tour of the crater floor, which is home to numerous plains game and the big five. Spend the day within the crater and have lunch at one of the famous picnic spots in the park. In the evening you will return to the lodge which is strategically perched on the rim of the collapsed volcano, with the most magnificent views of the crater floor.

Overnight: Neptune Ngorongoro/Ngorongoro Rhino

Meals: Breakfast & Lunch

Day 11: Ngorongoro – Transfer to Lake Manyara

Have breakfast then head to Lake Manyara to arrive mid-morning. Drive to the lodge for lunch. Have lunch then relax before another game drive at 4p.m till 6p.m

Overnight: Lake Manyara Serena/Wildlife Camp
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 12: Lake Manyara - Transfer to Amboseli (Via Namanga)

After breakfast at the camp depart with picnic lunch boxes to the Namanga border. Clear customs and immigration formalities then join our Kenya tour driver and proceed to Amboseli. You will have lunch en route. Once you arrive at the park, you will enjoy a game drive. Look out for large herds of elephants, lions, leopard, gazelles, wild dogs and the magnificent view of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Overnight: Tortilis/Kibo
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner

Day 13: Amboseli – Full day

Spend this day with morning and afternoon game drives. All meals are taken at the lodge.

Day 14: Amboseli – Transfer to Nairobi

Have breakfast then depart for Nairobi to arrive in time for lunch. Have lunch at Carnivore Restaurant and later be dropped at the airport or your hotel.

Kenya is one of the finest-and undoubtedly the most famous safari destination in the world. Kenya has a rich culture and diverse environments. Situated right along the equator, which gives ensures a lovely weather throughout the year. While much of northeastern Kenya is a flat, bush-covered plain, the remainder of the country encompasses pristine beaches, scenic highlands and lake regions, the Great Rift Valley, and the magnificent Mount Kenya.

Kenya’s game parks, reserves and other wildlife protection areas host some of the wildest and unique game thus the name home for safari. Year in, year out hundreds of thousands of tourists from across the globe visit Kenya to witness various attractions in the country that is rich in both wildlife and culture. The annual wildebeest’s migration alone involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in September.

Visas

You need a visa to enter Kenya. You can either get a visa on arrival at the airport, or before you travel. To minimize time spent queuing at the airport, get a visa before you travel. You can apply for single entry and transit visas on the e-visas website.

Passport Validity

Your passport should be valid for a minimum period of 6 months from the date of entry into Kenya. Make sure you have two blank pages in your passport on arrival.
