Day 1: Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport and clearing with Customs and Immigration formalities you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to the hotel to check-in for overnight.

Day 2: Arusha - Ngorongoro

After breakfast check-out and depart for Ngorongoro Conservation area where you will arrive in time for lunch. After lunch descend down the crater for an afternoon game drive.Return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge is strategically perched on the rim of this 'Garden of Eden', affording unbelievable views plunging down over the crater floor, 7,500 feet above sea level.

Day 3: Ngorongoro - Serengeti

After breakfast pick-up lunch boxes and leave for the world famous Serengeti plains game drive en-route in search of the Big Five taking advantage of the heightened activity of the animals in the evenings. Check-in at the lodge for dinner and overnight.

The Serengeti National Park is the oldest National Park in Tanzania and has a population of approximately 25,000 large animals, largely ungulates along with reputedly the highest density of mammalian predators in Africa, lives in the crater. Large animals in the crater include the black rhinoceros, hippopotamus, wildebeest, zebra, eland and Thompson’s gazelles.

Day 4: Serengeti

Today you have two game drives an early morning game drive before breakfast and an afternoon game drive. Or you can opt for a full day game drive with lunch boxes retuning to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Serengeti - Lake Manyara

After an early breakfast depart Serengeti National park for Lake Manyara National Park with lunch boxes. Upon arrival proceed for an afternoon game drive at the park in search of the famous tree climbing lions and impressively tusked elephants. Squadrons of banded mongoose dart between the acacias, while the diminutive Kirk’s dik-dik forages in their shade. Pairs of klipspringer are often seen silhouetted on the rocks above a field of searing hot springs that steams and bubbles adjacent to the lakeshore in the far south of the park.

While on game drive enjoy the road as it winds through an expanse of lush jungle-like groundwater forest where hundred-strong baboon troops lounge nonchalantly along the roadside, blue monkeys scamper nimbly between the ancient mahogany trees, dainty bushbuck tread warily through the shadows, and outsized forest hornbills honk cacophonously in the high canopy.

Day 6: Kilimanjaro

After breakfast pick-up lunch boxes and depart for Kilimanjaro where you will be transferred to the Airport to check-in for your home bound flight.

Visas

Foreigners seeking to enter the United Republic of Tanzania should be in the possession of valid passports or any other travel document. The passport or any other travel document is to be presented to the Immigration Control Officer at any entry point, such as Border station, Airport or Harbour. The travel document must be presented along with one of the following:

  • o A valid visa or
  • o A residence permit or
  • o A pass.

    Yellow Fever Certificate

    Yellow fever vaccine is essential, and a yellow fever certificate is required as proof at all entry / border points.

    N.B: A visitor must also present an onward or return ticket together with proof that he/she has sufficient funds to support himself or herself while in Tanzania.
